Kings Mansions is the hub of all things music in Brighton….well, not really. In actual fact, Kings Mansions is a dirty, run-down building located on Brighton sea-front, in the centre of town and houses 24 musicians at a time, of which I am one.
I have been living in Kings Mansions for 2 years whilst studying at the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM). The building is one of legend within the BIMM community and is infamous for the parties. There is nothing quite like a Kings party.
I’ve now decided to open the party up to you all. With this blog I’ll be keeping you up to date with Brighton’s legendary unsigned music scene as well as a general insight into the weird and wonderful ways of Brighton Life.
